Who We Are

Emerald Essentials, Landscape Consultant is designed to assist you with all of your landscaping needs. We are a traditional landscaping company. Our goal is to help the do-it-yourself landscaper achieve their gardening goals with down to earth advice and help. Our clients enjoy gardening, but sometimes they need a little professional help to guide them in the right direction. We want to get you out into your yard or garden and work side-by-side with you. In the process, you will learn basic landscaping techniques and principles and have your questions answered. Like stated earlier, our goal is to help the do-it-yourself landscaper achieve and exceed their goals with a little help from us.

Emerald Essentials, Landscape Consultant has several years of experience in the landscaping field as well as vegetable crop production. This experience includes work in the nursery and commercial greenhouse industry as well as instructing horticulture and landscape courses in the higher education system and on a community basis.

Emerald Essentials is located northeast of Denver in Brighton, Colorado, but we are willing to travel to help the gardener in need.

Pricing

Consultation Package

Whether you are putting in a new landscape or want to rejuvenate a mature one, you can have a consultant visit your yard and give you advice. The consultation package includes:

Soil analysis, including pH testing
Plant material and lawn check
A landscape write-up with plant and maintenance recommendations

All recommendations are made on a basis of what you tell us you want from your yard. In the initial consultation we will discuss the amount of time and funds you have to devote to your landscape. We then base our recommendations on what will be best for your landscape and you.

Price: $200

*Time after the initial two hours will be billed at the $40/hr rate. Mileage and additional time will be applicable, depending on your location.

General Labor

Emerald Essentials believes that some of the best learning is done in doing. Our general labor service is not meant for us to come and do the work for you, but WITH you. While working side by side with you we will instruct you on horticulture basics. Our down to earth teaching approach will provide you with the information you will need to have the landscape of you dreams. We can assist you with planting, minor pruning, maintenance, and other landscape tasks. What we do and how long we work is largely up to you.
